FUNERALS
How much does it cost? The fee depends on the distance travelled and the services required. Usually, it is somewhere between £85 and £200. How do I book you? You can contact Mike direct on – 01237 422477 or 07948 550 218, [email protected] or ask your Funeral Director to make the arrangements. Do you wear a kilt? Yes. Mike usually wears the traditional Scottish ‘day dress’, which includes kilt, sporran, jacket and waistcoat. What sort of bagpipes do you play? The name for them is the ‘Great Highland Bagpipes’, they are the traditional Scottish pipes and yes, they are quite loud! Can you play a specific tune? Mike has a wide repertoire of tunes that are suitable for funerals. If you have a specific tune you would like him to play, please ask. The pipes do have a limited range of notes making it difficult to play most pop tunes. How far do you travel? Mike regularly travels throughout the South West of England and can travel further, although obviously this will cost more. How do I pay? Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash. What do you wear under your kilt? There are lots of different answers to this question, although ‘shoes and socks’ is Mike’s current favourite. |
